Join us in support of the fourth annual The 5 Factor event at eM the Venue by Marc on Thursday, September 27, 2012 benefiting Resource Center Dallas. The 5 Factor recognizes five who are making a difference in their respective fields every day. Their backgrounds are varied and interests diverse, but their commitment to excellence and drive for success set them apart. These five individuals exemplify the style and generosity of Dallas’ future. Celebrate with the honorees while enjoying great tunes, bites, and the best libations!
The 5 Factor 2012 Honorees Include:
•Gregg Kilhoffer (Icon) is the president and CEO of Caven Enterprises, owner and operator of four LGBT bars in Dallas. He was instrumental in re-establishing the Cedar Springs Merchants Association, and currently serves as the group’s treasurer. Kilhoffer’s support of many community organizations and events make him an icon.
•Tracy Martin Taylor (Design) is the owner and lead designer of the interior design
firm Eleven 11 Design. Her quest for all things creative leads her to design spaces reflective of her clients’ passions and personalities. Taylor is also a former general manager for arts & entertainment/travel& luxury for the Dallas Morning News and its related publications.
•Alisa Weldon (Media) is the co-founder and editor of L Style G Style magazine, a two-in-one publication profiling and showcasing leading lesbian and gay individuals in Austin since 2007. Weldon is excited to launch L Style G Style in Dallas this fall with her partner and magazine co-founder, Lynn Yeldell.
•Tre Wilcox (Culinary) is the executive chef at Village Marquee Grill in Highland Park
Village. His passion for food and family shows in every dish he prepares. Best known for his work at Abacus restaurant, Wilcox was twice nominated as the James Beard Foundation’s Rising Star Chef, and competed on “Top Chef” and “Iron Chef America.”
•Anthony Wilkinson (Renaissance Man) is the director of tourism for Northpark Center. He also wrote the hit Off-Broadway show “My Big Gay Italian Wedding.” Wilkinson was an associate director for ABC Daytime’s “One Life to Live,” where he earned three Daytime Emmy Awards and four awards from the Directors Guild of America.
